swestrupWake. Labour. Stress. Travel. Party. Destress. Travel. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
That seems to be the formula that I've been following the last few days, and it shall continue today. I have lots more work to do in the basement before Monday and although progress is being made, I find it not only labour intensive, but stressful in that I keep finding more things that need to be done. Its also rather stressful that I'm ignoring all other chores (some of which are also high priority) in order to get this done on time. grimmwire's place yesterday helped immensely. I'm hoping the one tonight at sultrysong's place will have a similar effect on me.
(Stupidly, some of the stress comes from the fact that I'm going to these parties, and therefor have less time to do the work than I otherwise would. However I've been far too starved for social interactions lately so I am going to the party dammit!)
On the other hand, it seems liketaxlady shall not be going to the party tonight. She's already snowed under with work due to the rapidly approaching tax season, and she's reluctant to drive in conditions of both snow and drunken paddy's day partiers on the road. So, it looks like its BMW for me tonight.
