Once again, I haven't been able to sleep at night. I'm not even sure what day of the week it is any more. I don't know if its the lingering effects of my cold, or worries about money or what, but my sleep has been very screwed up for the last several days. I've essentially been sleeping in a very hap-hazard manner. Just because I'm sleepy doesn't mean I'll be able to fall asleep, and just because I've had 16 hours sleep in the last 20, doesn't mean I'll be able to keep my eyes open.

This is making it very difficult to get around to any of the billions of things I need to be doing right now. *sigh*

So, now I'm drinking caffeinated coffee to see if I can make myself stay up until 2:00 pm or at least noon. If I go to sleep then I'll be waking up at something stupid like 10:00 or 11:00 pm, but I'll be closer to a reasonable schedule than I am now.

honestly, get the doc to prescribe sleeping pills. i've had insomnia for years, and was completely against the idea of taking drugs. but the fact is, it ruins your entire day if you can't sleep and your entire schedule drifts off more and more. now, i take pills for a few days to get my schedule back to normal, and then I don't need them anymore.
