swestrupI conked out around 7:00 pm last night and woke up a few minutes ago. I was hoping for a solid 12 hours sleep, but I'll take what I can get in my present state. I've re-dosed myself with patent cures and should I start to feel sleepy any time soon, I'll head straight back to bed.
Meanwhile I guess I'll read the morning comics and pretend that its not Oh-dark-hundred right now.

taxlady is also awake right now, but she hasn't fallen asleep yet. Or again. She's been napping on and off all day and was actually already asleep when I went to bed, although she probably woke up an hour later.
We've now both got this cold (which is the final clue that this is not a sinus infection, just a bad sinus cold) which means that neither of us is in much shape to take care of the other. Even the cats are acting listless. I don't think they've caught it (haven't noticed any cat sniffles!) butsucha doesn't have much appetite right now. Of course, it just might be the smell of two sick apes that is putting her off her feed.
So far, 2007 isn't off to a very good start.
