Crush Meme.

A few months (or more) back there was a joke crush meme that went around. I played along with it and gave it a unique email address assuming it was designed to gather addresses for spam purposes. I was very puzzled when I never got any spam to that address.

Well, starting in the last few days, I am suddenly getting spam to that address. What took them so long?

Well, if they DID find a succesful manner in which to harvest valid email accounts, I would guess they do not want you to link the mechanism to the new spam. Means they can try a variation again later, when everyone changes their email addresses due to the spam overload...
