Adventures in Shopping.

Actually, the shopping itself wasn't such a big adventure. I just walked to the Dep (corner store for those non-quebecoise) to buy milk for cereal for breakfast. It was on the way there that I noticed something.
There is a 6-story condo block being built on the bit of land that was scrubby forest for as long as I've lived here. They've been building it for what seems a dozen months or so, and they've finally gotten around to doing the interior. As I walked by the ground floor windows on my way to the store, was looking in and checking out the finishing work being done, and notice showerheads.
It seems that the shower stalls in the bathrooms face directly out onto the street and a large window. Now, normally there will be curtains on the window, and a bathroom door, and shower curtains, but I still think that's bad planning. Some folks like to shower with the bathroom door open, and the curtains only have to be open a bit for someone to be able to peek in.
As I say, it probably won't be a big deal in practice, but I think 20 seconds worth of thinking could have arranged things so that wasn't how the lines of sight worked out.
