So, I got a bunch of holliday cards lately. It makes me feel slightly guilty, since I haven't sent out any, but I've always found the tradition to be a bit odd.  Anyway, my Mom sent me and taxlady some small amount of money. It at least guarantees that I'll be going to see RoTK in the next week or so, after the mega-crowds have diminished, and that's a GOOD thing! :-)

I also got a card from a non-LJ friend who indicates that he reads my blog. Eeep! I know I've been telling everyone I meet that I write this thing, but I never really believed any non-LJers would bother to read it. Anyway, a big <WAVE> to Capt. Jim.  Oh, and I did get your e-mail. I planned to do something about it as soon as I had a free moment. Heh, I may as well have decided to put it in a peat bog for 1000 years. I don't know WHEN I'll next have what I would call a free moment, so I'll try to get to it today, okay?

Hi, I was reading over your Livejournal and I finally decided
to comment on this! I was in non-commenting "mode" for a long
time when I was reading your Livejournal (I'm weird), and lately
I decided to read it over from the beginning. It turned out that
you began it only a short time before I began reading it, anyway.
To what email message are you referring? I checked my email archives,
and I couldn't find any email message I sent you any reasonable time
prior to your post here.

Just checked my old email archives and I have absolutely NO IDEA what I was referring to above. See how well the intarweb preserves modern history?

Oh well... were you trying to spell "intraweb"? -- you posted "intarweb". What's an intarweb? (I remember you
wrote on one of my xfer diskettes once: "Jim, what's an xfer?")
