Wakeys!

So, the sleep idea sort-of worked. I got to sleep at around 3:00 am and managed to wake myself at 10:00 am, so I'm kinda on a day shift now. All I have to do is get to bed at a reasonable time tonight, and we'll be all set.

In completely irrelevant news, I've finally figured out how I want to instrument the website(s) I'm putting together on my home machine. (They'll later be moved to a dedicated server. For now though, this is more convenient.) So, now I just have to write a bunch of mod_perl scripts, see if I can get the fastcgi stuff working, and actually organize some content. And THAT reminds me:

[livejournal.com profile] _sps_: I don't suppose you ever found those old tarballs of the website you were putting together ages ago? I thought I had a copy of the content, but I can't find it. Oh, and I may be interested in anything you have from the aborted thing-watch project. I'm having ideas....

Got both on the laptop, I think. Next time I'm there, give me a directory. (But of course the whole issue with the watch is making and distributing the things. The software is easy....)
