Today's new word is "epicaricacy" which is the English equivalent to the (much more common) German "Schadenfreude". Both terms refer to taking pleasure in another's misfortune.

Speaking of Schadenfreude, has somebody been reading Dilbert today? Or is it just a massive coincidence?

Yeah, I couldn't remember the definition of Shadenfreude when I read Dilbert, so I went and looked it up.
