The family pet, Ivan the Husky had to be put down yesterday due to organ failure. As much as it would pain me to lose one of our precious cats, I know that my brother is in much worse pain at the moment. He bonds with animals in a way that I can hardly describe, and the animals, in turn, adore him and worship him. Ivan was his constant companion for the last 10 or 15 years. Since before he moved out of the family home.
