I can't sleep because my feet are too hot. The rest of me is fine, but if I leave my feet uncovered the rest of me gets cold. taxlady complains about this all the time, but its a rarity for me.
Reminds me of a story about Horace Gold (editor of Galaxy) and Isaac Asimov. I'll have to post that in my own journal sometime. I hope you can get over it and get to sleep...
It's funny, I've always thought the main point of feet was to serve as temperature regulators while under covers. (Oh, and maybe the walking thing too.) But maybe you need to train yourself to stick them in and out while still asleep.
Then again, the song "You Need Feet" points out some other uses.
