I'm heading off to sleep now. I haven't done much all day except rest and catch up on my reading. I've now caught up all of my comic strips and have at least skimmed all of the LJ posts from the past 3 weeks. Tomorrow I'll make a start on reading through my backlog of mail.
Other than that, I'm feeling kind of let down that the whole travelling gig is over for now. I'm also feeling the need for some company. Part of me would have liked to attend
emjayne's party tonight, but
taxlady and I were just too wiped out. Besides its a mid 90's party and I was pretty much the same then as now, with the exception of having had more hair...
Not much else to say. I got some sand collected for
thebabynancy and some postcards to give to
azrhey. The other postcards were all mailed the day before I left Denmark. I wonder if anyone has gotten theirs yet?

Date: 2005-10-21 12:12 pm (UTC)Thank you so much for the postcard. Of course you got home before it reached me. Hmmm ... former red light district? Yup, I guess that's up my alley. [Rambling about postcards: a former colleague of mine went to live in London UK for a while and sent me a zillion p-cards. I think I also got some from Paris. Anyway, one of my faves was an art deco-ish drawing of people having cocktails, a clock showing it was late and the caption, "Why go home?" I loved it so much. What I did with many of the p-cards was staple them together at the edges to make a poster and put them up on the fridge. Yes, lots and lots of p-cards.
Take it easy for a while, if you can.
Home-grown, Canadian hugs,
H.
