If so, maybe you should mention it to the US Patent office. It seems that Microsoft is currently in the process of patenting the idea of putting a number in a box in order to make it stand out.

At the moment there's a massive exodus of Patent workers. They can't handle the load. Also, they're burnt from doing bullshit patent evaluations. ALSO MS is submitting, like, three thousand applications this year.
