Woot, a new Cell phone!

swestrupI haven't been able to afford a new cell phone, but my old one has been becoming increasingly unreliable of late. A few weeks ago, a friend gave me their old phone because they had upgraded to a newer model. Its been sitting in a box ever since (except for a bit of experimentation) because it was locked to Rogers and even though Fido is now owned by Rogers, my Fido sim card doesn't work in the new phone.
Today I sat down and figured how to unlock the phone so that it would accept my sim card. Its a sad comment that it took me longer to figure out how to turn the phone on than to unlock it once I had it running.
Anyway, I now have a newish phone that shouldn't die once I've been out of the house for a few hours!
