swestrupLately I've found my machine making hard-disk retry noises when copying some files around. Today it told me that a file was unreadable. (I had just downloaded it -- so no big loss, other than time).
I have been wanting to get a bigger hard disk, but I had planned for it to be an addition to my current storage space, not a replacement. Grumph.
It looks like I shall be buying a HD on monday, and I just hope my current machine keeps running until then. To be on the safe side, I've got XP running a checkdisk on it now, so I'm having to post this from my webserver. Double Grumph.
