Start of Another Busy Week.
Feb. 21st, 2005 07:08 amSo, its the start of another week, and it will probably be quite busy as I am still trying to get settled back into this whole going-to-work routine. Last week ended up being ANYTHING but routine. I think I'm looking forward to a return to normalcy, or at least as much of it as can be achieved with Deniz gone.
Its looking like I'll be meeting folks for beer on Tuesday, and Wednesday my love
taxlady will finally return. For today though, I have no plans beyond going to work, and returning home in the evening.
And I had better get ready to do so now.

Do you have nice coworkers, a comfy chair and interesting things to do?
They've gotten you started on some technical writing, right?

Date: 2005-02-21 06:18 pm (UTC)So, I like the folks here, I like the layout of the space, and I like the fact that we get free snacks. I'm sure I'll like it even more once I'm up to speed enough to start coding.

Date: 2005-02-21 08:34 pm (UTC)At my new job I only lasted 3-4 days before I had to do some actual coding rather than just reading specs and documentation. Sure, there were a few example programs I compiled and said "Okay, so it works..." when they, well, worked...

Hehe... I actually like that we don't get free snacks. I have this habit of just continuing to eat snacks when I've started. Since I have to pay at least I know that there's a natural limit to how much I can eat in a single day (namely the depth of my pockets ;-)
