Firefox working!

Thanks to the folks who responded to my request for help here (you all know who you are, or if you don't that's not my problem) I have managed to grovel through the about:config for firefox and find the line that was disabling javascript creation of new windows. It was probably left in its borked state when I last upgraded Firefox and went from having a plug-in firebox popup-blocker to using the built-in one.
