Inductivity.
Jan. 10th, 2005 07:09 pmWell, I restarted Atkins today and so far, so not so bad. I've only consumed 16 of my 20 allotted carbs for the day, which means I can have a 4-carb snack if I want. I think a great help has been the fact that we have Camenbert in the house, and a whole wheel of that stuff isn't even one carb, so I can pretty much scarf some whenever I get the munchies, and I don't even have to count it.

Date: 2005-01-11 01:25 am (UTC)Really, I seem to have already started losing weight by just not indulging as much as during the holidays, but I promised myself as I was scarfing goodies, that I would compensate by doing a week of induction in the new year and so I'm gonna do it.

4 ounces really isn't that much...when I started the diet in 98 it was free for all, over the years the rules have changed.
In the end, your mileage may vary.. i lost 70 pounds my first time around but I did it right...I didn't cheat, not a bite for 6 months...I had my one golden shot and I blew it after those 6 months...I'm always worried about people low carbing, almost none of us ever follow the menus...since I began I've developed (atkins would say discovered) food intolerances and stomach problems, just be careful :)
too much of anything is no good
