One of the last bunch of CV's I sent out got a nibble of interest. I may actually get an interview out of this one. We'll just have to wait and see, as I'm not sure how things will get scheduled this close to the holiday season.

At least the job sounds doable. For once someone is asking for skills that I actually have: low level network driver stuff in C and assembler.

T-riffic!

Hopefully you'll get an interview before christmas. What kind of company is it and how's the location relative to your home?

It's on McGill, close to the Square-Victoria metro station, and thus closeish to the commuter train station.

If the trains/busses are decently aligned commuting is usually not a problem. It's when getting to the commute is a journey in itself that things get bad. I once lived in a place where the walk to the local train/bus station was longer than the trainride that followed. During spring, summer and autumn I took the bike, but in winter with rain/sleet/snow it just wasn't an option.

Good luck with it!
