Iraq and m_cat.

swestrupI was idly flipping tv channels last night when I heard an announcer say the name ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
m_cat. I quickly flipped back to that channel, and they were showing stock footage of the war in Iraq. This has me very worried. I tried to use google news but it told me "No pages were found containing 'm_cat'". I had been hoping that what I had missed was just a blurb about "among the many dignitaries decrying the war in Iraq are .... and m_cat", but now it looks far more sinister. Why have all news references to m_cat been removed? What have I missed?
In other news, Slashdot has just posted this article in which a University is being sued for having granted a degree to a cat. Why is this happening? Will the bigotry and hatred never stop?
