Sleepy Day.

I never really managed to wake up today, and now I'm having trouble falling asleep. It doesn't help that my scalp is itching like crazy. My hair generates enough oil that I need to shampoo at least every other day, and preferably every day. Since we don't have hot water, it hasn't been given a good cleaning since just before the party last sunday.

Oh well, the workmen are scheduled to show up tomorrow between 12:00 and 3:00, so I should be able to give it a propper cleaning tomorrow. In the meantime though, it itches enough to make it hard to sleep, but I'm about to go give it another try.

Well, I hope you have better luck than I did when my rental hot water tank went away in September. The first plumber visit confirmed - "Yup, it is leaking. Water even." I was informed as it was a rental, no charge for a replacement. Wait, it gets better. However, due to recent municipal laws, they would have to install a cold water merge to ensure the hot water was not too hot. And that the air vents for the gas heater might need to be replaced. So the following day the actual plumbers show up - and the first thing they do is saw through the air vent. Yup, you're going to need to replace that...sweet deal. So now I can't scald myself with the hot water and my bank book was $280 lighter. Hmmmm....

Yeah, they said on the phone that they'll have to ensure that the heater is installed to code and that I'll have to pay for anything that requires. Luckily my folks sent some money for just this contingency, so I hope to be able to cover it. Better yet will be if they think everything is fine as-is.
