Good News.

I've been sitting here thinking as I drink my coffee this morning. The last few days, ever since Friday, as a matter of fact, I've been getting steady dribs of good news. None of it has been earth-shattering, nor has any of it actually solved any of my problems, its just that I suddenly noticed that every bit of news that has related to me personally since then has been positive. Relationships have been strengthened, new avenues of hope have appeared, anticipated problems have evaporated or been delayed. Its all very tenuous now, and I know how easy each of these bits of good news can turn out to be a false hope or a misinterpretation of the facts, but for now, everything is looking optimistic across the board. I plan to enjoy it while it lasts!

I have to wonder though, how much of it is genuine, and how much is it my stubborn optimism insisting on looking at everything in the best light?
