Pretty Good Day.

swestrupToday has been a pretty good day. Actually, the last several days have all gone pretty good.
I've been working through my email backlog that built up while I was concentrating on getting my project done FAST. Had I realized just *how much* work I was letting myself in for, I would have tried to keep in touch with my email. Instead I kept saying 'It'll only take another month, then I can relax and read my mailinglists', for over six months. So, all the backlog that took me 2 months of solid reading to get rid of last year, is back.
Anyway, I've been reading just a bit each day, and then getting back to my project. I seem to be making real progress now. I managed to find and stomp a pernicious bug that has bothered me since I first set the webserver up. It turns out, once again, to have been the doing of msec, which likes to change the permissions on files after I've already set them. Grumph.
Oh, and I also made a couple of hundred on eBay this week. That won't exactly pay the rent, but I'm still getting the hang of this online selling business.
