I haven't been posting much to Livejournal for some time now. A large part of it has been due to things not going terribly well in my life, something that tends to make me withdraw into myself, and stop posting much. Things seem to be taking a turn for the better now, so I'm feeling slightly more optimistic.
As a result, I'm now tackling a large number of small annoyances that I haven't had the energy to deal with, and slowly getting things sorted out on my computer, and in my home. I hope the trend continues.
I've also been thinking about Livejournal. What little I've been posting lately has either been simple status updates in Facebook or pointers to articles in Google Reader. Neither of these ever show up in Livejournal, which is a shame because its the only one of the three with a permanent record of my posts.
So, far from abandoning livejournal, I'm thinking about ways to make it the ultimate repository of what I do online. That may have consequences for the amount of junk one sees showing up here, so I'm going to think about it for a while first.
Right now I don't see much point in mirroring my tweets here (those few that I do) as they're generally non-informative, but then again, so are my facebook status updates and I'm regretting not having a log of them doing those times when I don't have the emotional energy to post anything else.
