Time keeps slipping, into the future...
How does it happen that I can have plans to get something done first thing Monday, that it now looks like I won't get around to until the following Sunday, at the earliest? I guess I sort-of know. Its important (organize basement) but not really urgent. Meanwhile, lots of other stuff suddenly shows up which IS urgent, or have inherent deadlines that I am unable to modify.
So, Monday we took much longer getting home than planned, even when I had taken that into account, so there was no time. Tuesday I had already scheduled a business meeting downtown, and today I've got a bunch of social obligations. Tomorrow I've suddenly had booked to see
azrhey and
pphaneuf (which counts as urgent in MY books!), and Friday I've agreed to write a business letter that may well take me all day. Saturday is Sandy's Graduation Party (as well as St. Jean Baptiste) and so that day is completely booked.
Sunday is currently looking like the next free slot in my schedule. Hopefully, we won't have another repeat and have everything slip by another week...
