Late Night Goodness.

I had lots of fun at the Invisible and Random Colour concerts. Its a shame we had to leave before Random Colour was finished, but taxlady was nervous about the consequences of missing the last bus home. I would have preferred to stick around and possibly chat with folks after the concert, but it was not to be.

When we got home I saw that my latest reconditioning pass on the third drive was finished and now reporting everything clean. I ran one of the previous tests which had failed horribly, and it now says its looking good. I think this means I can try to put the machine back together tomorrow, and see if I can get it working again.

Triumph!

Webigail is alive again, and acting like nothing untoward happened over the last week. So far I haven't found any missing or damaged files at all! All file checks have come up completely clean! Its still conceivable, I suppose, that some files got a few bytes modified in their middles that went undetected, and I'll keep a lookout for that, but so far its looking really good.

Facebook is threatening to ban me again!

Last time I just posted too much to my LJ. This time it seems that writing to most of sarahcarotte's friends on Facebook to get her to poke her caused me to go over my 'messaging limit'. You know, Facebook, it would really help if these various limits were mentioned somewhere...

Still, it was completely worth it, as I seem to have caused a bit of a Poke Storm. Sometimes the Impiish side of me wins out, after all. Next time I'll just create a 'Poke Sarah' event and invite all her friends. We'll see if there's a limit on THAT too!
