Crush Meme.

A few months (or more) back there was a joke crush meme that went around. I played along with it and gave it a unique email address assuming it was designed to gather addresses for spam purposes. I was very puzzled when I never got any spam to that address.

Well, starting in the last few days, I am suddenly getting spam to that address. What took them so long?

Crabgrass U.S.A.

There was a Muppet-like show I used to watch as a kid that was called, IIRC, "Crabgrass U.S.A." It featured such characters as "Wolfgang Wolf", "Basil Beagle", "Derwood Dragon", "Dr. Ology" and "Granny".

So far I haven't been able to find ANY mention of the series on the Internet, whatsoever. I find it very strange, especially when I occasionally run across a modern kids TV show that obviously uses puppets from the same source, so at least some of the folks who made the show are still around.

Does it ring a bell with anyone?
