Went out for supper and drinks with taxlady to the Old Dublin. Met the usual suspects (cpirate, sfllaw, azrhey, pphaneuf) as well as a few new faces such as gorbash_dragon, archdiva, and obskura.

Would post more about the good times I had, but I'm still quite tipsy, and I think I'll go to bed now.

I always hate it when an obvious, lucrative idea in web services comes around and leaves me feeling that *I* should have thought of that.

Well, here's another one: Prosper is a website for lending money to, and borrowing money from, other members of the site. Its a simple idea, but it could easily get really big. Just look at the Grameen bank.

In case anyone out there has recently been bitten by a radioactive bandicoot and needs to build themselves a secret headquarters, now there is a place to go for it: HiddenPassageways.  (WARNING: Annoying music) They make bookcases that slide aside when you pull a book, or fireplaces that rotate when a candlestick is pulled.
