Its been a long day, and I'm very much looking forward to bed.
It started this morning when I had to get out of bed and go catch a train to Central Station where I met up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
thebabynancy who was in town. We spent the day gabbing until she had to catch her 6:00 pm train back to Hull. Other than a brief visit from gregorama, it was just the two of us.
After that I decided to walk to Sharx for Bowling withkyotto et al, doing so mostly underground. Around Peel, I bumped into azrhey and pphaneuf (read: I walked by them without seeing them and they had to jump out and grab me) just as they were getting ready for supper. As I had taken a large lunch/supper with me to Central Station and had already eaten it, I was the full, so I just watched them eat.
Afterwards we headed over to Sharx where we met up withcpirate, blacksquiggles, xipetotec, kyotto, chickcurious and bunches of folks that I didn't know. (Forgive me if I've forgotten anyone that I did know -- my brain is melting due to the late.)
We bowled two games, and I did signifigantly better on the second game after I stopped trying to figure out where I wanted the ball to go, and just tried to get it to the end of the lane with some decent velocity.
After that, things mostly broke up andcpirate, pphaneuf, azrhey and I stayed to shoot some pool. It was cpirate and pphaneuf against azrhey and I. We played three games and won the first two handily and only lost the third due to potting the black in the wrong pocket.
After that, we all headed out to Guy metro, and caught our respective trains home. Now that I am back at the west pole, I'm relaxing with a glass of wine and will very shortly be tumbling into bed, because I have another big day planned for tomorrow.
