Sleep.

Oog. I should have been asleep hours ago. I am going to force myself to wake up ungodly early tomorrow. Anyone want to phone me after 6:00 am to make sure I'm awake is welcome to do so.

I don't actually have anything I need to do that early tomorrow, so it will be harder than usual to make myself get up. The plan though, is that if I'm completely exhausted tomorrow night then I won't have any trouble sleeping, no matter how nervous the whole idea of a job interview makes me.

Maybe this way I'll manage a full night's sleep and won't have to do an interview on 3-hours shut eye.

And with that, I'm off to bed.

G'Night!

Ugh. Urpf. Okay, I'm awake.

Who's stupid idea was this anyway?

As I've aluded to here before, recent studies have shown that foks who are just waking up can have worse mental and coordination impairment than those who are drunk or stoned. Right now I can feel that. Its NOT very easy to manage to type this.

That said, I've also noticed just how nifty a blue glass mug looks as I take another sip of my caffeinated coffee and the only light in the room, the glow of the monitor, shines through it. Blue.... Woah....

I'll even gladly accept help on thunderbird mail, but I don't really expect more than hlep.

Is there any way (obscure option, extension, etc) to get Thunderbird to sort and file my SENT mail for me? I'm sick and tired of going through my sent mail folder and filing everything into the various correspondance mailboxes I use.

Wait... brainwave here...  If I set Thunderbird to use my Inbox and my sent-mail folder, would it be possible to set up inbox filters that recognized that it was sent-mail and automatically filed it for me? I'm afraid to try it without some idea of how catastrophic that might be. I also don't know if thunderbird will trigger a filter on mail it has delivered itself into my Inbox (as opposed to fetching it via IMAP).

According to this post, all cannonical URLs for free user accounts are changing. The old URLs will still work, but will now redirect to the new versions. Paid accounts already use the new scheme.

Tomorrow.

Well, my fiendish plan seems to be working in that I am:
  1. Dead Tired, and should have no trouble sleeping; and
  2. Ready to go to bed now.
Before I do that though, I should point out that I shall be in town tomorrow for my job interview, which is unlikely to run past 4:00 pm. After that, I'll be available to meet anyone who is so inclined to meet. Otherwise, I shall take the rush-hour bus back home again.

So, reserve your Sti time now, while supplies last! After I head out tomorrow morning the only reasonable way to get ahold of me will be by cell phone, until I return.
