I just woke up, and wandered into my office to check my email. Then it struck me. All of a sudden, it felt like it was Christmas. I couldn't understand it until I looked out the window and everything was white. I guess what the snow does to the light is what caused the thoughts about Christmas.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who showed up at my birthday dinner. What with all the things that have been going wrong in my life recently, I was starting to feel isolated, alone and unloved. Having so many folks show up for my impromptu dinner was very gratifying and has gone a long way to dispell those feelings. What better present could a guy ask for?

For those of you who've been wondering, here is a list from Sony of all of the CD's they have released so far with the rootkit on them. If you have one of these, I recommend you hold on to it. It'll probably be a geek collectors item in a few years.

I've so far spent the entire day writing and for the first time while doing NaNoWriMo I'm actually ahead of where I need to be by the end of the day. Maybe now I'll be able to pull ahead.
