Awake again.

I've awoken from 12 fairly solid hours of sleep, so I'm not as brain dead as I've been for the last few days. I haven't caught up fully yet, but I'm feeling far more like myself right now. Provided I get to sleep at a reasonable time tonight, I should be able to think tomorrow as well!

Busy Day.

Spent the day so far taking care of a whole bunch of odds and ends that need to be done before I head away on my trip. Things like suspending the newspaper for a week and getting my itinerary emailed to me by the airline (for some reason I never got it the first time.)

I also went to the bank to replace my missing ATM card (which I found at the bottom of my knapsack while getting ready to go to the bank, but it had already been cancelled. :-/ ), and to pick up some needed groceries like eggs and coffee.

I was going to stop at the local Dickens Twist (which used to be a Duncan Donut) for a coffee and a read of the paper on the way back, but the place is closed and all of the equipment is gone. I think this means its not a coffee shop any more...

So, here I am back at home, and trying to figure out what I'm having for supper. My guess is hamburgers.

Travel Update.

Well I just heard from taxlady and she has arrived safe and sound, along with her sister and mother. They are all now at her Mother's apartment where they are going to be trying to get the place cleaned up and usable. They've already had some cleaners come around to handle all the dust, but there's still an awful lot of organizing and purging that they'll need to do.
