Today's day.

Well, lets see, I got up around 10:00 am today. Did the usual routine of drinking coffee and eating breakfast. Then I started working on setting up a user account and web presence on my server here. Well, actually I continued the work that I started on Thursday, but didn't finish due to borked DNS (which turned out to be due to an invisible control character in a config file). I ran into a number of problems, but got it all working right eventually.

We also swept and mopped the floors in the house today. It doesn't sound like much, but doing this when we aren't expecting guests in the next day or so is unheard of from us.

So, I guess stuff got done, and now its time to sleep.

Firefox working!

Thanks to the folks who responded to my request for help here (you all know who you are, or if you don't that's not my problem) I have managed to grovel through the about:config for firefox and find the line that was disabling javascript creation of new windows. It was probably left in its borked state when I last upgraded Firefox and went from having a plug-in firebox popup-blocker to using the built-in one.

I don't wanna!

There's stuff I should be doing now, but I really don't want to do any of it. All I want to do is sit in front of the TV and vegetate, so maybe I'll do just that.
