[livejournal.com profile] tjernobyl mentioned this article in a comment to something I had posted a few days ago, but it looks like very few people saw it. Its a worthwhile article on the results of imbedding a powerful magnet in ones finger and what effects that had. WARNING: I found the pictures of the magnet being inserted into the finger to be somewhat squicky, but I don't much like blood.

This article on Sundial park in Belgium mentions many interesting and varied types of sundial, including a digital sundial, a 10-year old invention that looks like a digital clock display, yet works like a sundial.
