Party Aftermath.

Feh. I couldn't find enough bits of costume to go to the party with one, so I went without. taxlady did her minimalist witch outfit, which at least showed willing.

When I got there I discovered that I and miseri were the only ones NOT in costume. Also, it seems that the theme was pretty much ignored as only the host and one other had a theme costume, and everyone else just had whatever.

Oh well, it was still fun once I got over my initial shyness. I just wish I knew who more of the folks were who I chatted with. Lots of names flew by me, and most didn't stick. I wonder if there is any chance the host, baronscartop could produce a list of LJ names of folks who were there...

I think I awoke..

... but don't take my word for it. I could so easily be wrong.

Rough Day.

I had a rough day today. I won't go into details but the fact that I can't even afford candy to give out to Trick-Or-Treaters had a lot to do with it. Anyway, I just spent an hour or so with taxlady hauling junk out of the basement to the curb for garbage pickup. I makes me feel like I've at least accomplished something today.
