I went to bed at around 9:00 pm last night, and was asleep by 10:00. I figured I get up around 8:00 after a good long nights sleep. Well, I slept through the alarm, and woke up at 12:30 pm. Yeesh! 14 1/2 hours sleep, and I coulda slept some more.

Now I have to see if I can find me some coffee, and get my eyes working again.

Is when reading their journals you have no warning as to what strange things are lurking there for you. In this case it appears to be a submissive online chicken...  My mind still reels. Whats worse, I have a sneaking suspicion that some of my friends could get into this, so I'm just posting the link and asking no questions...

So, what did the Dalai Lama say to the man at the Toronto Hotdog stand?

Those of you who are graphics enthusiasts know that for the last year or so THE graphics card to buy was ATI's Radeon 9800XT, for sheer performance reasons. NVidia does NOT like to be an also-ran and so recently released the GeForce 6800 Ultra which is close to DOUBLE the speed of the 9800XT. This card is amzazing as it requires an AGP Pro slot (with its extra power coupling) AND two normal power connectors. This thing drinks electricity and has a major forced-air blower to keep it from melting all over the inside of your machine. Its clear to many that NVidia pushed its technology to the limits to once more have the fastest video card around. Well, that didn't last long.

ATI began letting reviewers get their hands on the Radeon X800 XT today, and yes, its even faster than the steroid pumped NVidia offering! It seems NVidia heard rumors that this was coming down the pipe and so rushed out their GeForce 6800 Ultra EXTREME, but its still not fast enough to catch up to the new front runner.

It looks like ATI is on a winning streak because they haven't had to push their technology nearly as hard as NVidia. The new X800 actually runs cooler and requires LESS power than the 9800XT.

Man, do I want one of these babies!!!

Blah.

Feelin' kind of blah today, not sure why. I spent all day yesterday doing chores and never got any work done, as a result. Today I just haven't had any energy at all.

Maybe its a low level virus or something, I dunno. Anyway all I seem to have the energy for is laying in bed or watching TV. Bleah.

I'm dead tire, already, so I'm going to go to bed now and make gentle sleeping noises.
