I dunno HOW I did it, but it seems like I somehow did another truely boneheaded maneuver yesterday while my brain was on an impromptu holliday. (I've forgiven my brain because it returned with my missing Gallbladder and its attached bile ducts.)
Anyway, I've spent all of today trying to get ISAPnPTools to run on my firewall so I can configure my ISA PnP card. It installed fine but its been looking like there was something wrong with the compatibility library I installed to make it work with my firewall's uClibc libraries. Well, I just found out that the reason the compatibility library never seems to install on boot is because its actually a renamed copy of ISAPnPTools and not the library at all! I have no idea how I did that, but at least I now have a good idea about how to fix things.
I also put another nine issues of White Dwarf up for sale on EBay, so all in all, I'm feeling pretty good about me-today. Me-yesterday however was clearly mad, and you should disregard all posts from that time period!

Apr. 20th, 2004 11:51 amI woke up Monday at 5:00 pm, so I'm beginning to feel that I should be hitting the sack now. At least for once I managed to cross 2 major things off of my to-do list, while simultaneously taking care of my chores. Its a good feeling to actually be able to say that you got something DONE for once!
So, I'll snooze now and wake alert and refreshed at an even much stupider time later, prolly around Midnight. So, till then, gnight all!
