Awakenings

Yawn. I didn't sleep as long as I had hoped. I got 9 hours, but I really needed more. Of course, I couldn't fall back asleep. As soon as I wasn't dead tired, all of my worries came crashing back down upon me and forced me to get up and DO something.

So, for the last couple of hours (I got up at just before 5:00 am) I've been working on an idea to possibly get me a job. Its been in the back of my mind for the last couple of weeks but car and computer troubles ensured that nothing got done on it. Now that that is calming down, I'll see if I can't manage to get something done.

Sorry for being cryptic, but I greatly dislike filtering my journal and I would prefer that my idea not be leaked ahead of time. That would greatly diminish its chance of working.

Holy Flapdoodle!

I've got a job interview! Its not until the 31st, but its with one of the less lame companies I applied to work for! Now I just need to dig through my mail and figure out what actual job it was that I asked them to consider me for...

Even if I don't get the job, this has certainly improved my mood!

Udder News.

I just heard from taxlady and she says she's put a deposit on a used Volvo to replace the one we lost. This model is a year older, and is fancier, but it hasn't been maintained nearly as well. It also needs a major scrubbing inside and out. So, this car will probably cost more in maintenance, but at least we'll have wheels again. It won't be ready until friday though, so we'll be doing the old BMW until then.
