Nov. 24th, 2003 07:30 pmHola! I awoke at 6:00 pm from a slightly disconcerting dream. Its exact content is unimportant. What is important is that I recognized what my subconcious is trying to tell me. Its mildly annoyed that I'm not learning anything new and exciting, or at least not doing so fast enough. I will try to remedy that.
Anyway, I hadn't planned to sleep so late. I had been planning to get up around noon. Oh well, at least it means I won't be so tired I'll want to leave the LJ meet early tomorrow.
In other news, I have, once again, a copy of Windows XP Pro Corporate Final, along with upgrade advice, so in just an hour or so I'm going to format my hard disk, and re-install from scratch.
And yes, I plan to make a full backup first. The upshot is that I won't be updating again here until I've gotten things working. With luck, that'll be sometime later tonight. Without luck, it may be sometime in the next few days.
