Yum! Actually, its not too bad. Its a little too brown on top, and really too brown on the bottom, but the middle bits are quite good.

Its a rainy and blustery day today, and I would very much love to just go back to bed and curl up under the duvets, but there is very little food in the house, and so one must gird ones loins and go on a QUEST FOR FOOD!

Well, the food expedition never really got off the ground. The car [livejournal.com profile] knud seems to have a dead battery. It was dead when [livejournal.com profile] taxdragon came back from Californicatia, but we got a boost from the CAA man and took if for a long drive. I guess either that wasn't good enough, or its shot. Anyway, we'll have to put off the shopping expedition until we've solved the battery problem once and for all. I guess that means we'll actually have to do some cooking if we want to eat tonight...

Oooh!

I mentioned before that I liked wind. Well, right now there is a light rain and very strong winds whipping the trees visible from my home office. I suppose I should stop and be thankful for all of the things I DO have, even if I'm feeling very broke right now. I have a view of trees out my window, not an alley or another house, and I'm sitting here snug and warm in my sweatpants and houserobe and drinking warm tea while just outside the wind is howling and it looks rather unpleasant to be out in.

I just came across a website with paper models of various regular polyhedra, from the standard ones to some truely way-out constructions. Check them out!
