Yuck, still working hard on the TorCon website, so I don't have much time for LJ.

I did want to take the trouble to wave hello to zadcat. I wonder how many other LJers turn out to be folk that I don't know I know?

I'm now awake again and bleary-eyed after being up till past 5:00 am working on the web site. It was supposed to go live today. It wont. Still lots to be done. I just need to find some part to put to the grindstone that hasn't already eroded away...

Of all the various anthropomorphic incarnations of stupid concepts, I hate the Brain Fairy the most. The Brain Fairy comes in the middle of the night, usually when you've had a bad day, and steals your brain. But before leaving, the fairy stuffs the hole with dead insects and fills your pockets with lint. Sometimes the brain fairy can be induced to return your brain if you spend the day doing things backward, like going to bed before the sun comes up. Then again I know some folks who never got their brains back.

So the next time you wake up and have nothing left to think with but dead insects, check your pockets, and you'll see what I mean.

Maybe if I go to bed early tonight the brain fairy will relent and return my brain...
