So, only 6 hours sleep, a night full of bad dreams and I'm still on my first coffee of the day. What else could go wrong? Right, the guy who sent me the quiz called me for a phone interview this morning. I dunno what kind of impression I made, but I suspect that, again, they don't know what use to make of me. Sigh.

What's worse, is that I'm not even sure I want the job, but it sure would be nice to be offerred one.

Don't worry; it's a numbers game. As long as you keep getting interviews, you'll eventually be offered a job (assuming you try on each one).

The trouble is, its only the second interview in 6 months of trying. Its not a good ratio so far.

I meant try in the interview, but, yeah, you have to get them first. This is not to accuse you of not trying in the interview, but rather to qualify my own statement that it's just a numbers game. One hopeful consideration is that if someone's interviewing you, he already thinks you can do the job; you just have to "give him the right answers" and not disillusion him.
