_sps_ is over here spending the weekend, as he sometimes does. Its nice to have a guest in the house. I think I enjoy this entire "host" thing. Anyway, we watched an episode of "The Future is Wild" that I had taped earlier, but not seen. Its an interesting show on speculative evolution. I just did an online search for it to see when the next episodes are coming on, and didn't find out anything except that you DON'T want to cached the horribly hacked-up version of it they are showing in the US. Luckily its clear that we're seeing the un-messed-up version. I also discovered the 13 episode (!) series is available on DVD over at amazon.com. It has now officially gone on my wish list, even if I DON'T own a DVD player. I will one day, and I'm sure I'll want this for archival purposes.

Thirteen episodes maybe, but they are 17-minute episodes - you've now seen 1/3 of it, I think.
