Another Day.

We have now reached the week-end. It doesn't make a lot of difference for me as I haven't been forced to head out to work every day in this hideous cold. I did have breakfast plans with kalkuly downtown on Friday, but by mutual agreement we put them off until next week when the weather should be more clement. I did end up going with taxlady to the Danish luncheon, and then followed her to her doctor's appointment on Wednesday, but that's all I've been out this week.

Instead I've spent my time helping taxlady with paperwork -- mostly sorting and filing -- while waiting for this damn 500GB drive to finish imaging (its now at 78.3% done). So, now we reach the weekend when I said I would take a break from my various projects, only I haven't really worked on any of them this week, and so the idea of a break is kinda silly. On the other hand, I'm not really up for doing much of anything with this system until I've repaired the hard drive that is currently imaging, and I don't want to try anything new and exciting that might cause me to need to restart my session and lose my work so far.

So, I dunno what I'm going to do. I just might spend it puttering and watching TV and movies.  Then again, my current video storage hard drive is swapped out for the new 1TB that I'm using for a backup destination, so there's a real limit to what's available for me to watch.

We've been having unseasonal weather here. Unfortunately on the jealousy front, what that actually means is that I haven't been wearing my coat to work (though it's still a bit nippy at night).
