Its a meme, but an interesting one. Here's a composite paragraph made up from the first sentence of the first post of each month of the year, as a brief recap of how its gone:
I JUST got home from the New Years party. Scientists have recently stumbled upon a way to treat memory loss. I'm currently at the University of Sherbrooke for day 1 (or is it day 2, opening ceremonies were yesterday, but we started work today) of Blitzweekend. Topless victory in Copenhagen. Most folks are taught that there are three basic circuit elements: resistors, inductors and capacitors. As I've probably made abundantly clear in the past, I'm a transhumanist, and therefor believe that some sort of technological singularity is pretty much inevitable this century. I don't play World of Warcraft, but I love it when people subject fantasy worlds to careful scientific evaluation. So, it seems I'm awake. It may be Tuesday but it feels waaaay Monday to me. Woke up today with a nagging cough. Had I stopped to think of the possibility I would have realized last night that I had all the ingredients necessary for a migraine this morning. I just created a Facebook event for an evening Get Together at Hurley's on Wednesday.
Hmm. Somehow I rather thought it would be more about me, and less about Scientific Schtuff.
