Well, its the 25th again, and I'm awake WAY too early, as is, I suspect, traditional for many. In my case its so that taxlady and I can wake up and head over to my parents place to spend the day. Its going to be a much-abbreviated version of our originally planned trip, which would have had us there from the 23rd to the 26th. But, what with our Solstice party being delayed to the 23rd by the weekend blizzard and us requiring all of yesterday to clean up and recover, we're only heading out this morning.

The 23rd?!? I might have made the 23rd had I but known it had been moved. Although I would have been late owing to a full day at work. Ah well.

Well, you WERE sent an updated party invite notifying you of the new date. We were wondering why you didn't respond, but figured you were probably off somewhere on holiday.
