Awake Again.

So, I'm awake and its early morning. Maybe that means I'll get some work done. We'll see. In the meantime I'm on my second pint mug of coffee and feeling a little -- you know, the problem with the word 'disoriented' is that it implies there's some sort of orientation that you should have, so instead I'll go with -- spinny. And that was BEFORE I started with the coffee. Maybe after the second pint I'll be able to have two adjacent thoughts that are actual sequitors.

I want to be productive, but the sun will soon be out, and that's a moodkiller. Perhaps one day I'll go up north to code-- cold enough that I'm not tempted to go play outside, and dark enough that I won't get pulled away by thoughts of "I stayed up HOW late??!"

I'm in Thunder Bay, on the west coast of Lake Superior. I did live in Winnipeg for 8 months, but moved back in the spring. With windchill, Winnipeg is something like -54 right now, -40 without... Not weather for humans to be out and about in!

Even after spending my whole life in this climate, I can still get a good hate going when I get stuck in it.
