System Reset

I'm posting this from the laptop, since it looks like this last round of viruses and all messed up my system so bad that I'm going to have to reformat my system partition and reinstall windows. Oh, joy.

And before any of the Linux enthusiasts tell me that I should be using it instead, I'd like to point out that I don't plan to lose any of my settings from doing this. However, I have a badly messed up Linux server and I have NO IDEA how to fix it without having to enter hundreds of individual setting changes to get things working again, so I've just been living with its borkage.

EDIT: And for some reason I'm having to post this manually, as my LJ client can't connect...

Oh, goodness, it's trivial to not plan to lose any of your settings in Linux!

Not, you understand, that this plan is ever going to work. But it's a good plan, as plans go.
