Awake, but sick.

Finally fell asleep and slept as long as my body would allow. That was somewhere around 8 hours, I would guess. Right now I don't feel as bad as I did yesterday, but its early yet, and I often feel best when I first wake up.

I plan to go on a little expedition today to buy some patent cures and some vitamins (and maybe sit in a coffee shop to give the maid time to clean). After I've been awake a while and dosed myself up, I'll have to decide if I'm going to this dinner or not.

I'm strongly inclined to go, even if I'm feeling unwell, since I'll be meeting folks that I normally never get a chance to see. Some of these are folks I've corresponded with, but never met. Others, like Eliezer Yudkowsky, I saw last in 2003, which feels like a very long time ago.

Lets just hope I'm up for it.
