Short-Lived TV Series for 100

I'm trying to remember the name of a TV series from a few years ago. It was about a guy who woke up naked on an island, in the middle of a large burned area in the shape of a symbol. The symbol was also on his body. He couldn't remember anything from before that moment, but he woke up being a huge storehouse of knowledge. He can speak every human language, knows how the stock market will perform based on first principals, and so on.

He's also color blind, except for a few object/people that he can see in color. He spends his spare time helping the cops solve crimes.

I think you're thinking of "John Doe." It was a fairly interesting show--while it lasted! Damned American TV.

It sounds like the TV Show "The Pretender"... where the guy doesn't know who he is but is a genius and can basically integrate himself into any walk of life... helping people along his way to figuring out who he is......

Though Kyle XY sounds similar too... I thought the Kyle woke up with no knowledge of anything before that moment.... and he is a teenage... "Jarod" in The Pretender is an adult genius when the series starts

ah, yes, i think that you are correct. there seems to be several tv shows based a similar premise... just with different details. lol go figure... reminds me of that movie "Made of Honor"... that movie has been out like 10 times already.... just under different titles and with a different cast.
