(Some days I really miss Peter Gzowski)

Well, I'm awake and I actually got somewhere near the recommended 8 hours sleep for a night. Considering this is an interview day, I figure that's nothing short of a minor miracle. I did toss and turn a bit first, but that's not so unusual for me at any time, and I managed to drift off to sleep somewhere between 10:30 and 11:30 last night.

So, I've now had my shower, and am drinking coffee. Checking the clock, it looks like I just have time to read LJ and my daily web comics while I dry off, and then I should be heading out to breakfast before proceeding into town for the interview.

Some of the reasons that I'm hoping for this job, besides the fact that, you know, they pay you money, is that its in the Cite Multimedia in old Montreal, just a block over from where I helped found Strategy First. I have good memories of that area. Plus, I'd be working within a block of folks I know like kino_kid and jdhobbes, so there's always the chance to meet for lunch or something.

It would also likely mean that I'd be taking the train into work in the mornings, and that is certainly a more civilized commute than the buses and metro.

Ah, enough daydreaming about how my life will change and how I'll spend my salary (pay bills mostly), first I have to pass the interview. One thing at a time.
